Purtroppo però, a causa di questa brutta pandemia il costo del caffè è aumentato di soli 0,10 centesimi, ma rimane comunque il caffè più economico e buono d'Italia!
Did you know that in our small town we have the cheapest coffee in Italy?
Well yes, we are talking about the coffee at "0.20 cents".
This can be found at the Ideal Bar Perrone, the oldest family-run bar in Alia.
Unfortunately, due to this bad pandemic, the cost of coffee has increased by only 0.10 cents, but it is still the cheapest and best coffee in Italy!
But the coffee is not the only specialty of this bar, in fact inside we can find some 'excellent pastry-ice cream and excellent rotisserie. For some years now, they have dedicated themselves to the artisan production of: panettone, doves and praline.
Attention is the baker who speaks:
Giuseppe, for us (Aliese) Pippo tells:" I have a diploma as an electrical engineer, but the passion transmitted to me by my parents for the pastry has led me to become a pastry chef. Now I'll tell you how it works.
In a pastry shop you have to follow a schedule according to the periods, for example in summer you have to produce ice cream, at Christmas time the typical Christmas cakes, at Easter time the doves and in the period in which there is not something typical you have to activate your wits! And I did it by dedicating myself to praline making.
Pastry making, which is a creative thing, requires a lot of passion, inventiveness and a lot of attention! After you have tasted and made people taste your products and in case they liked them, you can say you have been successful and that gives you a lot of satisfaction!".
Since some time, Pippo and his son , have become collaborators of Perugina, winning the prize "Artisti del Dolce", awarded by Perugina that has the ambition to bring together the best pastry-chefs and gelato makers enhancing their art and the Italian territory.
In short, the Ideal Bar Perrone is a must if you are a gourmet...
